 We viewed more presentations and they consisted of playlists and what the characters trash consisted of. We also started a bell ringer based on Black History Month, featuring Denzel Washington.

 We went over the basics of an argumentative paragraph and viewed all the parts of it. We then started to write an argumentative essay about a controversial topic. The topic I got was that baseball is boring. The essay has to include a paragraph for the point, against the point, and a middle ground between the two. I got my first paragraph done today.

 I read the poem “The Red Wheelbarrow”, it conveyed themes of dependence and how tools can affect things. I answered 10 questions about the poem and how cultures are represented or affected by things like this. I also explored how different lifestyles live and their dependence on simpler things.
