We finished reading a passage and answered questions about it. The questions were not too hard and they talked about how the passage related to our own mothers.

We started reading The Sorrow of War. We read pages 3-8. The character Kien is a soldier on the side of Vietnam. He has seen things and he is one of the only ones out of his original group to survive.
