We watched a film about children going to school. These children went to great lengths to get to school, such as traveling 22km every week. We also took notes on the different kids and their journeys.

We started reading The Sorrow of War. We read pages 3-8. The character Kien is a soldier on the side of Vietnam. He has seen things and he is one of the only ones out of his original group to survive.
