We finished reading Fences and in the end Troy’s death ended up uniting the family. We did a prompt to write about what happened between Troy kicking Cory out and Troy’s death.

We started reading The Sorrow of War. We read pages 3-8. The character Kien is a soldier on the side of Vietnam. He has seen things and he is one of the only ones out of his original group to survive.
